AIIMS Delhi: Know the symptoms and prevention of black fungus disease
अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान (AIIMS) के डायरेक्टर डॉ. रणदीप गुलेरिया और मशहूर अस्पताल मेदांता के चेयरमैन डॉ. नरेश त्रेहन ने ब्लैक फंगस यानी म्यूकरमाइकोसिस को लेकर जानकारी दी है (Dr. Randeep Guleria, director of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Dr. Naresh Trehan, chairman of the famous hospital Medanta, have given information about black fungus)
- स्टेरॉयड का इस्तेमाल डॉक्टर की सलाह के बिना ना करें (Do not use steroids without doctor’s advice)
डॉ. रणदीप गुलेरिया ने बताया कि ब्लड शुगर लेवल का अच्छा नियंत्रण, जो स्टेरॉयड पर हैं, वो रोजाना ब्लड शुगर लेवल चेक करें और इस बात का ध्यान रखें कि स्टेरॉयड कब देना है और कितनी खुराकें देनी हैं| डॉ. रणदीप गुलेरिया ने बताया कि ब्लैक फंगस को लेकर कई झूठ दावे फैलाए जा रहे हैं कि ये कच्चा खाना खाने से हो रहा है लेकिन इसकी पुष्टि करने के लिए कोई आंकड़ा नहीं है। वहीं ऑक्सीजन के इस्तेमाल से भी इसका कोई लेना-देना नहीं है। ये होम आइसोलेशन में रहने वाले लोगों के बीच भी हो रहा है।

Dr. Randeep Guleria told that good control of blood sugar level, those who are on steroids, check their blood sugar level daily and keep in mind when to give steroids and how many doses to be given. Dr. Randeep Guleria said that many false claims about black fungus are being spread that this is happening by eating raw food but there is no data to confirm it. At the same time, it has nothing to do with the use of oxygen. This is also happening among people living in home isolation.
2.ब्लैक फंगस के शुरुआती लक्षण क्या है? What are the symptoms of black fungus?
- नाक से खून बहना, असामान्य काला स्राव या क्रुस
- नाक बंद
- सिर और आंख में दर्द
- आंखों के पास सूजन, धुंधली दृष्टि, लाल आंखें, कम दृश्यता, आंख खोलने और बंद करने में कठिनाई
- चेहरे पर सुन्नपन या झुनझुनी महसूस होना
- मुंह खोलने या कुछ चबाने में कठिनाई
- दांत दर्द, मुंह के अंदर या आसपास सूजन
- Nose bleeding, abnormal black discharge or crus
- Nasal congestion
- Head and eye pain
- Swelling near the eyes, blurred vision, red eyes, less visibility, difficulty in opening and closing the eye
- Numbness or tingling feeling on the face
- Difficulty in opening the mouth or chewing something
- Toothache, swelling inside or around the mouth

अगर आपको चेहरे, नाक आदि पर कही पर भी त्वचा चुने कठोर लगे या कही पर भी त्वचा काली लगे या ऊपरोक्त मे से कोई भी लक्षण होने पर तुरंत डॉक्टर की सलाह लेवें| If you find the skin hard on the face, nose etc., or if the skin is black on any place or any of the above symptoms, seek medical advice immediately.
ब्लैक फंगस का सबसे अधिक जोखिम किन रोगियों में होता है? Which patients have the highest risk of black fungus?
- अनियंत्रित मधुमेह, मधुमेह कीटोएसिडोसिस और स्टेरॉयड या टोसीलिज़ुमैब पर मधुमेह रोगियों के रोगी
- प्रतिरक्षा-दमनकारी या कैंसर-विरोधी उपचार वाले रोगी, और पुरानी दुर्बल करने वाली बीमारी वाले रोगी
- उच्च खुराक स्टेरॉयड और या स्टेरॉयड या टोसीलिज़ुमैब की लंबी अवधि के मरीज़
- गंभीर कोविड मामले
- ऑक्सीजन सपोर्ट पर मरीज़ – नेज़ल स्प्रिंग, मास्क द्वारा, या वेंटिलेटर पर।
- Patients with uncontrolled diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, and diabetics on steroids or tocilizumab
- Patients on immune-suppressants or anti-cancer treatment, and patients with chronic debilitating illness
- Patients on high dose steroids and or long duration of steroids or tocilizumab
- Severe Covid cases
- Patients on oxygen support – nasal springs, by mask, or on a ventilator.
